2007-2008
January 1st 2008 05:16
What do I remember from the year 2007? Quite a good year really, I graduated from university, went on to do a graduate diploma and became involved in community radio. Everything that 2007 was though cannot compare with what 2008 is set to bring me.
2008 is a year of changes - I'm moving to a new city in just two months (exciting and nerve-wracking all at once), will finish my graduate diploma and start my LLM. Work will involve a transfer which will certainly help but I'll also be looking for a new job. It's good to have the job as a back-up though when it comes to making such a big move.
I feel that 2008 will be the beginning of a new phase of my life. I'll be away from family for the first time (which is what I consider an added benefit to my move as distance will probably improve the relationship), live in a new city, become a full time student again and hopefully gain a lot out this experience. I'm looking forward to doing my LLM (course-work not research) and I hope it gives me everything that I imagine it will.
To 2008 then, the year of changes!
