Predictable not Patterns

Consistency.
Yeah that's right. Nothing trendier then consistency. No i don't mean routine and i don't mean rut, but i mean steady, clear, no-surprises good or bad.
Paris Hilton is consistent. It doesn't matter if its raunchy pics on the internet, drug accusations, wild displays of inebriation, blatant disrespect for laws, or ridiculously cavalier attitudes towards general standards of decency, you can count on Paris to simultaneously shock you until the shock wears off and her antics become mundane.
Likewise, the key to all stability, all comfort, is knowing exactly who you are and who you are dealing with. In order to demand this type of consistency from others you must first be aware of yourself and recognize when you fly off your own predictability radar. Again, this doesn't mean you're boring, predictable or dull. Predictable to a degree. I should be able to know whether you will be as fun today as you were yesterday, and make a prediction you'll be equally as fun tomorrow. As such I can make certain assumptions about our interactions....
Constructivism in political theory posits this very idea and its equally true of humans and their relations as it is states and theirs.
How can one possibly know how to behave towards another unless they have some sense of who that other person is in relation to themselves? When every day is a mystery our interactions are awkward, clumsy, at best. That constantly shifting perception of yourself in relation to me limits in every conceivable way the scope of interactions we can have.
Consistency as a person is trendy. And obviously so is taking your frustration out on the web
