US CURRENCY

so i was going to write about democracy promotion and I was going to evaluate it from all different cultural lens and pose to you, all you out there, the questions that are puzzling and stumping the world's leaders....but i received some personal news today that trumps my interest in democracy (and wait til you hear what it is) and so...democracy will have to wait!
I inquired on the state of revenue that THIS blog has generated and do you know what the answer I got was? One dollar and fourteen cents, US (as if that's some sort of consolation--at least its in US currency---please, i'd rather it was in pounds!)
And the saddest part is that I've been doing this for months!! months i tell you! So i got really frustrated, I mean its not like i don't have a job and am enrolled fulltime in school, its not like i have hours and hours of time on my hands, but i really thought this would be fun. And it has been fun, but what's fun without a little cash on the side....
could it possibly true? I won't see any of this money for years! and even then, its gonna be like 10 dollars and 2 cents.
i thought about getting discouraged, and i won't lie, i'm a little discouraged, but i'm persevering. I'm going to continue to share my thoughts on the world and how to navigate it with a little grace, a little class and a whole lot of trendiness....
and in 10 years when i see a profit...damn it'll feel good!
